This policy explains what information InjuryRange.com ("InjuryRange", "we") collects when you use the site, why, and what choices you have. The short version: we collect as little as possible, and nothing you type into a calculator is sent to us.
Calculator inputs
Everything you enter into our calculators, including injury, medical and financial details, is processed only in your browser. It is not sent to our servers, not stored in cookies or local storage, and disappears when you close or reload the page.
Information collected automatically
Like every website, our hosting provider receives technical information needed to deliver pages, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. These server logs are used for security and to keep the site running, and are kept for a limited period.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how visitors find the site, for example page views, the referring site, approximate location (country or city), device and browser type. Google Analytics never receives what you type into a calculator. Advertising features and ad personalisation are switched off.
Outside the UK, EU and EEA, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) to count returning visitors. For visitors in the UK, EU and EEA we use Google Consent Mode with analytics storage turned off: no analytics cookies are set and Google receives only anonymous, cookie-less signals. Emails you send us
If you email us, we use your name, email address and message only to reply, and delete them when they are no longer needed. Please do not send medical records or other sensitive documents: we cannot give advice on individual claims.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal data.
- We do not pass your details to law firms, insurers or claims companies.
- We do not use advertising cookies or ad personalisation.
Service providers
We use a small number of providers to run the site: website hosting (Vercel) and analytics (Google Analytics, provided by Google). They process data only on our instructions. Some providers are based outside the UK and EU; where that happens, transfers are covered by recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, for example under the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR or US state privacy laws such as the CCPA, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to how we use it. Email hello@injuryrange.com and we will respond within one month. In the UK you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Children
The site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top. See also our cookie policy and terms of use.
