Is the estimate a guarantee of what I will receive?
No. It is a reasoned range based on the information you enter and a published method. Actual outcomes depend on evidence, liability, insurance limits and negotiation.
Do you store the information I enter?
No. Calculations run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into a calculator is sent to our servers.
Is the calculator free?
Yes. There is no charge and no signup, and you never need to give an email address or phone number to see a result.
Are you a law firm?
No. We provide general information and estimates. We cannot advise on individual cases or represent you.
Should I talk to a lawyer?
It is sensible if your injuries are serious, fault is disputed, the insurer's offer seems low, or a deadline is approaching. Many injury lawyers offer free initial consultations.
Which countries do you cover?
The United States (all 50 states and Washington, D.C.) and the United Kingdom (currently England and Wales). Scotland and Northern Ireland have different rules.
How often is the information updated?
We review every calculator at least once a year and within two weeks of major legal changes, such as a new whiplash tariff or a new edition of the Judicial College Guidelines.
